Musuem quality late 15th early 16th orphrey. Part of an eccleasiactical vestment at one time. Origin: South Holland. Depicts Maria holding the christ child surrounded by the 12 apostles. All done in silk and gold metal thread on a linen back.
The sides have been finished off with a blue silk edging dating from the 1800's and a silk backing from the same period.

Condition
