A 19th century French cope hood. Gold lame base with brocade design center of pelican feeding her young and heavily woven florals and scrolled leaves around the sides done in a silver metallic thread. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

53 cm across the top x 55.5 cm from top center to bottom center.
Condition
Overall very good condition. At the upper corners you can see some loose threads in the woven brocade but nothing major. Fabric is good and strong.
