A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Large paisley motifs against a red background on the front with a striped cotton fabric on the back.  Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition
 
There are some holes here and there both front and back which I've teied to show in the photos but also several areas in good condition without any damage in case you were considering cutting and using for smaller project. There are no stains and the colors are even, good and strong. 
 
The fragment is in "as found" condition and hasn't been laundered.
