A lot of 5 bois dore elements. French in origin. Probably date from the turn of the 18th century 19th century. Wood. One long piece along the bottom, two curved pieces at the sides and two small florals motifs. Blondish tones of gold. I haven't been able to figure out where the two smaller motifs would have fit into ensemble but I do believe they are all true to what was undoubtedly a much larger piece at one time. I especially like the facee that each piece is decorative on it's on own and could be used individually or as a group. Photos are a good represenation of actual color.
Measurements
Long piece along the bottom measures
53 cm across x 12 cm from top center to bottom center
Curved side pieces measure approx
17 cm from top to bottom x 23 cm across at the widest points
Small blossom motif measures
7 x 8 cm
Small blossom with leaf motif measures approx.
11 x 9 cm
Condition
Overall good appearance. All the pieces had layers of dust on them and I carefully removed it with Q-tips. I have not done any further cleaning. The pieces would undoubtedly brighten up more with a soapy clean but I prefer to leave that up to the discretion of the buyer.
All the peices have areas of missing paint and pieces although as you can see a fairly even looking appearance. There is an old "brace" of wood at the back of one of the curved pieces.
