Two 19th century French embrasses. The fabric appears to be a finely woven linen with block print design of roses, cornflowers, tulips, carnations & ribbon. Lovely matching trims finishes off the sides. Lined at the bac with linen and have a small brass ring and linen strap for closure.

Left in "as found" condition. 
 
No damage or stains but do show some light soiling due to age.
