A 19th century French quilt fragment. Linen chanvre front and back. I believe at one time this quilt was probably white in color and long ago has been dyed this medium pink collor. There is a thin layer of backing between the two linens so this fragment can easily be sewn and worked into other projects.

Left in "as found" condition and has a good clean appearance without damage or stains. Color is good and even without fading.
