A 19th century French cotton block print. Lovely typical provencal design of repeating heart shade motifs with florals and leaves with draped picotage lines along the bottom. Colors are red, rosey pink, sage green, lavender with outlines in black. All against a white background.

36 cm wide (uneven edge at one side and measures only 34 cm wide at one part)
 
Condition
 
Overall good condition with good strong colors. Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines. One tiny age spot at the bottom edge of the fabric and a few tiny pinhead age spots next to each other at one side.  Nothing major and you have to really look for them. Fabric is good and strong with no thinning or damage. 
 
The fabric has been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the integretity and color.
