Antique fragment of chintz block print fabric. Part of the traditional wear in the city of " Marken " in Holland. Glazed. Depicting roses and leaves  against a madder red background .Dates from the mid 1800's.  Hand stiched edges Good strong colors. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Overall good condition. The only thing to note is that here and there you will a few age spots and some breakes in the fabric in all 4 corner of the piece. This is where the piece was ussually pinned to the costume.
