Antique Dutch sampler. Undoubtedly from the 1800's but incomplete and not dated. Depicts two figures center with the tree of life. Below the figures a crown like motif with a bird above. At the top two angles holding a wreath. Normally this is where you would find the initals of the maker or a date. At the bottom two potted florals. Around the sides rosebud motifs. All done in a silk thread on a loosely woven linen. Generally sampler pre-dating 1850 were done in silk threads. Wool threads were use after 1850. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

43 cm from top to bottom x 32 cm across.
Condition
Very good condition with no obvouse stains and no damage.
