Gothic arch  style frame around the sides is hand embroidered with a gold metallic thread has now taken on a dark patina. Photos are a good representation of actual colors.

Measurements

25.5 cm from top center to bottom center x 25.1 cm across at the widest points

Condition

Used but still in good condition for it's age. The only thing to note is that on the center motifs from top to bottom you will see some wear to the silk and a couple of breakes with missing silk due to age and a few small age spots at the bottom of the applique.  At the side motifs you will see some slight wear to the silk fabric that has exposed the silk fabric. Nothing major. Still has a good appearance.
