I purchased this sampler from a private collection here in Holland so it could possibly be Dutch but all the motifs relate to British royalty. Dated 1941 in the bottom right hand corner. At the top you have Buckingham palace with a figure at each side. Center you have ER with a crown, British flags and two castles. Towards the bottom more British flags, the tower of London and two figures. Appears to be embroidered with a combination of cotton and wool threads on linen. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

33 cm from top to bottom x 27 cm across.
Condition
Very good condition with only some light aging of the linen cloth.
