Antique silk chenille and metal thread embroidered fragment. French in origin. Probably dates from the mid 1800's.   Photos are a good representation of actual color.

17 cm from top to bottom  x 15 cm wide at the widest points
 
Condition
 
Good condition . The only thing to note is that the surrounding silk is pretty much gone. The embroidery work is still in verry good condition .
