An antique silk cope hood. French in origin. Silk in a vibrant green with a woven design of scroled leaves, grapes, wheat and a pyramid center in gold. You can still see the selvages at each side of the fabric. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

53 cm across the top x 51 cm from top to bottom center.
Condition
Silk in still good and strong. You will see one small hole in the fabric at the upper right hand corner edge and you will see a couple of small pinholes in the fabric when held up to the light. Nothing major.
