A set of beautiful antique silk ribbon ties. Dutch in origin. Dates from the early 1900's. Possibly earlier. These ribbons were commonly used in tranditional dutch clothing and would have been used on the backs of aprons. This example if two shades of blue in a repeating diamond design. The ends of the ribbon have been drawn into a point and smartly finished off into a decorative block weave.  Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Silk threads do show some thread loss and one one piece there is a darkish soiled spot. If your looking for old and authentic these ribbons are a good choice.
