Antique silk striped fabric. Made in the silk capital of the world Lyon, France. Lovely combination and mix of old colors with some strong brighter colored stripes Old pink, aubergine, mustard, tangerine, gold., green, pale blue, rose red. Double weave. Still has it's an original paper label at one corner with a stamped number. Good strong threads. Suitable for clothing, soft furnishings and even light upholstery work. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurments
64 cm in length
The width is 1 meter 26 cm (looks like the selvages were removed). Width would normally be 1 meter 28 cm.
Condition
Excellent unused condition. The only thing to note is a couple of hand written measurements along the wdith edge on the back side. Nothing that will affect the use of the fabric.
