Gorgeous piece of antique silk tassel passementerie. French in origin.   Wide cotton braid with a raised velvet scrolled leaf design. Tiny silk tassels along the top with very full drape silk tassels along the bottom. Red & dark pink in color. Photos are a good indication of color and condition.
 
Measurements
 
1 meter 17 cm in length 
The width from top to bottom of scalloped drape is 18 cm wide. 
The floral motifs measure 4.5 cm from top to bottom x approx. 2.5 cm wide at widest points. 
 
Condition
 
Possibly used but still in good condition. You can see that the threads of the tassels at bottom are a bit scruffy but what you would expect on a piece of this age.
