A beautifully preserved 17th century French tapestry panel. Wool with silk thread accents. Panel depicts a goddess carrying a woven basket of flowers on top of her head. Colors are still good and strong. Mitered edge along all sides and lined at the back with a red silk damask fabric. Small metal rings have been added along the top edge at the back to the panel can easily be hung. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
