A 19th century English sampler. Silk on linen. Name of the maker at the bottom Eliza Moore.
 
At the top: Letters of the alphaet and numbers 
Midway a prayer to God
Center (though difficult to see) a line of crowns. 
Bottom section: Large alphabet letters and there underneath name of maker. 
 
All done hand done in cross stitch embroidery. 
 
Appears to have no date.

44 cm from top to bottom x 31 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Good overall condition. There is a bit of missing thread especially in the line of crowns and a bit missing from a couple of the numbers.
