Rare Find! Beautuiful large piece of 18th century silk & metallic brocade fabric. French in origin. Based on it's shape probably part of vestment cope at one time. Repeating florals and leaves design done in silk and silver metallic thread on a study creme colored silk background. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

1 meter 27 cm along the right side and narrows to 65 cm at the left side
 
The brocade is actually 3 panels sewn together with some smaller pieces at the edges. 
 
If you took the piece apart you would have 3 panels measuring 
 
1 meter 11 cm from top to bottom x 53 cm wide
83.5 cm x 53 cm from top to bottom x 53 cm wide
79 cm x 53 cm from top to bottom x 53 cm wide 
 
All three panels appear to be selvage to selvage and these measurements are squared and do not include the smaller pieces of fabric that are sewn in along the bottom of the dart that you see at the bottom edge. 
 
Condition
 
Mostly all good condition and the fabric still good and strong. 
 
On the largest panel a but of a stain down from the top. If you cut away the stain you would end up with a piece 41 x 53 cm and 60.5 x 53 cm (still good size pieces. 
 
One small area on one of the small sewn in pieces that has a hole. You can see where the panels have been stitched together that they have come loose. 
 
There is a linen at the back that is only stitched at the panel seam lines so it's easy to remove. I've left it for protection 
 
You will see a tiny bit of wear to some of the metallic threads but nothing major or distracting. Colors are good and even. 
 
As you can see from the measurements above several good size pieces available which would make for several small pillows. The fabric doesn't really need to be stabilized but would recommend it just for an added layer of protection and preservation.
