A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Fabrics front and back.
 
Front fabric: Repeating block design of large leaves and flroals that alternate with rows of small florals and leaves on a branch. Colros are madder red, reddish brown, pale yellow and white against a blue background. 
 
Back fabrics: Reptilean look block print of squiggly lines and circles in shades of green and mustard against a tobacco brown backgound. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Overall good and clean appearance. 
 
Front: very good condition for the most part except some holes at one corner and a couple of smaller holes down one side. 
 
Back fabrics: very good condition for the most part except soem holes at one corner and a small split towards one edge. 
 
The fragment has been left in it's "as found" condition.
