Antique fragment of chintz block print fabric.  Part of the traditional wear in the city of " Marken " in Holland. Dates from the early 1800's . Cotton. Depicts flowers, leaves and pomegranates on a white and red striped ground. Beautiful strong colors.  Antique cotton plaid at the bottom. Backed with a antique pink plaid fabric. All handstiched. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Overall good condition for it's age. The only thing to note is that at the top of the fabric you will see a patch from the same fabric and on the back the pink plaid shows some small wearat the center top and a small faded stain. Nothing major . A great piece for a colector or study.
