A late 1700's early 1800's silk & metallic thread embroidery fragment. Italian in origin. Depcits two blossoms and one leaf done in silk threads with long scrolled stems and leaves done in a metallic thread. All done on a heavier weight creme colored silk brocade fabric.

Condition
A part of one blossom is missing. Both blossoms missing silk threads. Scrolled leaves show surface wear, missing threads and some loose threads.
Silk brocade shows splits and thin areas.
Can easily be cut out and used as an applique.
