Some beautiful gold work embroidery on this 19th century Ottoman towl. Done on a very fine muslin cotton. Embroideries at each end of a branch with flowers and leaves done in mostly gold metal thread with silver metal thread used at the center of each blossom. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
Left in "as found" condition.
The embroideries are in good condition with no damage.
The cotton muslin has aged and yellowed with time with some darker age spots including one spot in the gold work. There is one tiny hole at one edge. For the rest the fabric is good and strong.
