Antique French roll print fabric. Cotton. Dates from the mid 1800's. Extraoridinary motifs that alternate with larger and smaller bands of florals and leaves. Lovely toile du jouy red color against an off white background. Full repeat. Original selvedge at one side.

Condition
 
Used but still in good condition. The only thing to note is here and there you will see a couple of tiny thining areas, a small hole at the right hand side close to the selvedge.
 
The fabric has been given a cold water wash and soak with those famous Marseille soaps to removed dust and dirt. A deeper cleaning would probably remove any light age spots but we take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
