A late 1800's early 1900's silk damsk pelmet. French in origin. Stylized leaf design. Perfectly centered motif. Deep red color.

Left in "as found" condition. There is a line of darker coloring that runs from top to bottom just right of the center. Due to age. No holes or stains. Also some light wrinkles and slight variation in color due to wrinkles.
