A stunning piece of antique silk brocade made in Lyon, France. Probaby dates from the early 1900's. Background is a beautiful warm sandstone color. The weave is incredibly depicting birds, trees and flowers in shades of green and a very light gold. The silk is medium weight and woud be suitable for upholstery and soft furnishings. Threads are good and strong. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
