Part of a collection we recently bought this antique gold lame fabric. French in origin. Probably dates from the 1920's.  Gold metal threads woen into a black cotton background.  Stylized floral and leaf design.  Dress weight fabric. Soft and supple so it can easily be worked. Perfect for restoration projects, ribbonwork, clutches, shoes. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
