A late 1700's early 1800's silk & metallic thread embroidery fragment. Italian in origin. Depcits a silk embroidered blossom and two leaves with stems and leaves done in a metallic thread. All done on a heavier weight creme colored silk brocade fabric.

42 cm from top edge to bottom edge center
Width across is approx.
19 cm wide (doesn't include the small piece at right side just the large piece)

Condition
Embroidery work in good condition with only some slight surface wear to the metallic threads which can be seen in the photos. Silk brocade back has missing areas and splits.
Can easily be cut out and used as an applique.
