Quit possibly saved from a vestment this 18th century slik & metallic brocade fragment. Depicts 3 full and one partial cross shaped motifs with blossoms in the center and a ring of leaves on a stem and fleur de lys shaped motifs around the sides. Originally done on a blue silk ground and lined underneath with cottom. An intricately woven gold metallic lace around all sides. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

34.5 cm x 37 cm (includes the width of the lace))
Condition
Metallic lace and embroidery work still in good condition. As you can see the silk ground is fragile and missing several pieces.
