A truly rare find! Antique boy dutch chintz bonnet. Dates from the early 1700's. Colorful florals on a white background.This bonnet is made out of several piecesof fabric that have been pieced together. Very desirable pattern and color. All hand stitched .Original liner. A colector piece.
The child's bonnets were made and used in the small fishing village of Marken, Holland. The antique chintz's were hand down from generation to generation.

Measurements
From top front to back bottom 16cm x 20 cm from side to side along the bottom.
Condition
Used but still in good condition for it's age. You will see some minor fade on two pieces in the back of the bonnet. Nothing major. The silk and cotton trim that goes around the bonnet and top are missing. A truly amazing example.
