Interesting antique silk brocade. French in origin. Probably dates from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Depicting various florals and leaves. The base is ivory in color and shows a pattern for the embroidery work of the silk threads that is incomplet on both sides. At the middle you will see two completed motifs. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements
The entire piece measures
1 meter 28 cm in length x 31 cm (selvage to selveage)
Measuring just the two complete motifs the length would be 61 cm in length x 31 cm wide. So each complete motif is approx. 30 cm in length x 31 cm wide.
Condition
In excellent condition with no stains or damage except for one small hole in the selvage along the edge. Nothing that will influence the rest of the fabric.
