Probably a late 19th century French cotton print fabric. Cotton has a slight texture to it and feels a bit like muslin. Alternating bands of leaves on thorny stems with scrolls and stylized blossoms. Slightly indienne/art nouveau look to it. Bascially shades of teal blue against an off white backround.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
