A 19th century French cotton roll/block print fabric. Depicting a band of rose buds and leaves  with bands of leafy vines. Lovely picotage work. Colors are yellow and off white against an indigo blue background.

Condition
 
Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. In almost all of the rose buds you will see holes. Some slight variaiton in indigo blue background. Heavier distrssed at one edge with small holes. Some small areas in good condition without damage so could be used for small projects. Band of leafy vines in good condition without damage. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove dust and dirt. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the integretity and color of the fabric.
