A 19th century French cotton plaid. At one time part of a quilt. Stripes are in two shades of brown, light blue and white against a golden olive moire background.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements
90 cm x 32 cm
Actually 9 pieces sewn together.
One larger piece 57 x 24 cm and the rest smaller pieces sewn to two sides.
Condition
Lightly quilted at one time so you will see some light quilt lines and tiny holes from the quilting threads which can be seen when held up to the light. I saw 3 more small holes but this are mostly at the edges of the fabric and should be easy to work around.
Left in "as found" condition because the fabric has a good clean appearance without any stains or obvious signs of dirt.
