Late 1800's/with early 1900's French wooden frame. Painted black. Inner border around the edges a viney leaf design. Outer edges decorative grape on the leaf design. Both painted in gold. Frame has some weight to it. Without glass and without a backing. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Overall very good condition. Joints are good and tight. A few age related wear spots on the outside and you can see some age related cracks in the motifs. Nothing major and what you would expect on an item of this age.
