A 19th century  French roll/block print cotton . Repeating bands of thorny looking branches in shades of natural red and browns.

Condition
 
Heavily distressed splits between each band. Large and smaller holes throughout as well as thin areas. No obvious stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove dust and dirt. We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the integretity and color of the fabric.
