A stunning piece of 19th century French silk ribbon. Antique white background with woven florals done in white and lavender. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition
 
The threaIds on the ribbon are good and strong. The ribbon must have been used at one time with something wrapped around parts of it because there are bands of good areas with no fading or discoloration and other areas that show exposure. These areas of exposure have yellowed over time and the florals have faded to a light lavender. For the rest there are no dark stains.  This is a beautiful piece of ribbon if you want to use it for achieving an aged look.
