An early 1900's French embossed wall paper border. Deep dark terracotta background with a faux leather look. Colors in the designs are shades of green, light terrracotta, a bit of red and gold tones. Raised motifs of wreathes with a blossom in the center that alternate with rectangular shaped motifs with blossoms and leaves in the center.
Several full repeats.
It appears that the paint on the wall paper has been applied in layers.
