A 19th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Provencal block print design front and back. Corner piece. 
 
Front: a repeating stylized blossom design with dotted sprigs to the sides. 
Back: stylized Indienne groups of leaves

Condition
 
Front: good overall appearance but I have detected some small holes here and there and some slightly large holes around the sides. So think it's best for smaller projects. 
 
Back: has a few larger holes and some wear at one edge and some small discolored spots that look white. Another small hole at another side. The original color of the background color was probably white at one time but has evenly yellow. Most of the fabric looks to be in good useable condition.
 
Overall clean appearance with no obvious stains. Left in  "as found" condition.
