An antique skein of French linen thread. It has the look and feel of silk. Pretty sure the thread is a vegetable dyed color in a rosy pink color. Strong threads. Difficult to know exactly how much thread is on the skein but I would guess at least 25 meters. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

The skein itself measures
48 cm in length x 3 cm wide
The width of the thread is 1 mm.
Condition
Old stock. Good unused condition.However as you can see from the photos the threads have faded here and there in color creating different shades of pink. Also a bit of a tangle from being in storage.
