Just in time for summer!
 
This lovely French white cotton blouse/jacket. Very pretty hand embroidered cutwork design of flowers on leafy stems which travels down the front center. Made more like a jacket than a blouse with just one buttton closure at the top. Pretty hand embroidered scallop edge around the neckline ,  down the front as well as the edges of the sleaves. Design at shoulders repeats at end of sleaves. Probably dates from the 1920's/30's. All seams hand done.   Photos are a good represenation of actual color.

39 cm from shouldner to should x 61.5 cm from top of neckline to bottom of front. 
 
From under arm to under arm 53 cm across.
 
Condition
 
Very good condition with no stains or  obvious damage. I did notice a couple of tiny pinhole at the back neckline. 
 
The blouse had already been laundered when I purchased it so I have left it in "as found" condition. You may want to give it a light wash to freshen but has a very clean appearance.
