You rarely find large panels of these 18th century Siamoise fabrics. One of the most beautiful examples that I have ever come across.
 
Block printt depicting bands of leaves that alternate with bands of what looks like to me clematis buds and small flowers. Colors are turquoise blue, creme on a madder red background.

The width is 1 meter 3 cm (still has original selvage along both sides). 
 
Condition
 
Lightly quilted at one time so you will see some slight variaiton in background color.  Saying that the colors are good and strong and have a fairly even appearance. Several large and small holes throughout and thinning areas. Good smaller pieces availalble in good condition. Good for documentation, small projects or upscaling. Would look amazing framed. 
 
The fabric has been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. We like to delivery a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
