An antique skein of French linen thread. It has the look and feel of silk. Pretty sure the thread is a vegetable dyed color in a mustard yellow. Strong threads. Difficult to know exactly how much thread is on the skein but I would guess at least 25 meters. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
