An 18th century French siamoise quilt fragment. Block print with repeating motifs of stylized leaves and small berries in skly blue against a medium brown background. 
 
The back a chanvre linen.

Left in "as found" condition. 
 
The front fabric has been pieced together with larger and smaller pieces and one triangle shaped piece. There are several small holes and breaks throough out the fabric but appears to also have smaller sections still in good condition. 
 
The back fabric (chanvre) has a patch at one corner and some old darns next to the patch. For the rest it appears to be good condition.
