We've made this lavender sachet using a Fortuny " Corone" in red & beige on the front and a 19th century vegetable dyed lcotton on the back saved from an old chasuble.  An antique silk French ribbon at the top so the sachet can be hung. 
 
The sachet is tightly stuffed with lavender so it will hold it's shape for years to come. Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.
