A finely woven early 1800's chanvre linen. Cremey white color.

*Actually two pieces sewn together with the seam crossing the width and 24 cm in from one side.
Condition
Heavier distressed at the ends with small and larger holes and thin areas. Middle section is in better condition but still shows many small holes and thin areas. There are some small areas in good condition without damage that could be used for patches.
Color is fairly consistant and no obvious stains.
The fabric has been giving a long cold water soak with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove dust and dirt. We try to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and the integretity of the fabric.
