A 19th century French silk damask fabric. Large floral and leaf pattern. Possible used for a vestment at one time. Medium weight so suitable for soft furnishings as well as small upholsery projects.

1 meter 24 cm from top to bottom x 27.5 cm wide (still has the selvage at one side)
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. there are a couple of very light smaller stains at one end which kind of blend into the background. A couple of small marks here and there and shows some aging but no damage or obvious stains.  Threads are good and strong.
