A 19th century gold metallic fringe. French in origin. Twist rope strands. Darker patina and even throughout. Nice narrow width with a full scruffy look.  Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

Used but still in good condition with with a lot of even bending of the strands back and forth giving the fringe a full scruffy look. Will look great with old textiles.
