A lot of 3 antique Victorian period French appliques. Undoubtedly made for garments. Made from a flat cording that appears to be a polished cotton. The centers have a wooden bead covered with black spangles and black jet glass beads.  Hand done. Still on their original papers. Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

Old stock. Unused condition. The spangles and beadwork have shifted and come loose on two of the appliques and the other applique is missing the wooden bead, spangles and glass beads altogether.
