Distressed 19th century French chanvre linen striped fabric. Actually 3 pieces hand sewn together. Two larger pieces and a narrow strip along one of the sides. Blue and white stripe.

Uneven sides so approx. 
 
1 meter 45 cm in lenght x 11 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Several small holes and some thin area throughout which has a somewhat even appearance. Good condition areas would only be suitable for very small pataches.  
 
The fabric has been lightly laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents in order to remove years of dust and dirt accumulation and pressed for delivery
